Like playing a game of Clue, minus the board, the players, and the hope that when it gets to the end it’ll make sense …
Ironically, the book reminded me of a notable case from Colorado where nothing makes sense and there’s a bunch of missing pieces to even the most trained eye. However, the mystery and crazy degrees of separation didn’t distract from a well written book. The author sucked the reader in and kept them interested … even if the interest was based solely on “WTF.”
Initially, I was shocked at how early on they released some of the details but it turned out to be apart of the larger plan, so I understood in the end. Over 3 stars … it was believable yet completely unbelievable, and I’m intrigued enough to check out something else by the author.
